Klein Dytham architecture designed the flagship showroom and brand experience centre for BMW Group Tokyo Bay, one of only two global model showrooms for the car manufacturer. Located in the Odaiba area of Tokyo, the building was opened in July 2016. Klein Dytham architecture's design comprises of a MINI showroom, a BMW showroom, housing thirty-one cars in total, a central space with a café, two virtual reality experience areas and a four hundred person auditorium. Taking up an entire block in the bay area, the site also includes a test track, complete with service area and the opportunity for visitors to test drive over ninety cars. Customers can come closer to these two iconic motoring brands than ever before. The project coincided with BMW's 100th Year Anniversary celebrations which saw amazing BMW cars from the past and future being displayed for the opening. Klein Dytham architecture worked on the project with Nihon Sekkei, CBRE and BMW in Tokyo and Munich.
