Architectural and Societal Thesis HABITAT* A 700-meter-high cyber-megastructure built with a pure steel structure and neon-lit surveillance, a sovereignty stand of vertical slum. The architecture of tension, Habitat*, anchors itself to the terrain in Neo-Kowloon with high-tensile strength cables, rising in Neo-Kowloon—a narratively reimagined version of a future Kowloon, Hong Kong, ruled by triads. Modular, jury-rigged-looking high-rises built entirely of metal, it craves to rule the city instantly and constantly—a monument that demonstrates the instantaneous pace and dynamics of Hong Kong.
