"There are various people moving and staying around Nishi-Shinjuku residential area, which host many office buildings and houses that rent vacant rooms. Our proposal, “ The Rental-housings” is experienced while passing through a street by converting a corridor housing, a narrow gap and a dead end street into new housing spaces called “Michi”. Also, our proposal creates a new public space that ties the neighborhood with our daily lifestyle within a new city network called “Gai”. In the future, The ”Gai” will develop a new lifestyle and the room units would be available spaces for rent on the site. "
