Today, rental housing is required to accommodate the vast diversity of different people.
In this project, we focused on various occupational abilities and hobbies, and idealized a
mechanism to create unique areas (= neighborhood) by incorporating these elements.
The distinctive characteristics of a neighborhood that can be seen from a “shoya” can be
established by focusing on the people who form the features of the rental housing area.
People who appreciate the idea of this neighborhood are attracted as residents and visitors,
and the characteristics of the neighborhoods become even stronger.
